Biography

Hong Jun Jeon is a 5th year Computer Science PhD student at Stanford University. He is currently advised by Benjamin Van Roy. In prior years he was supported by the NSF GRFP Fellowship. His research interests include information theory, deep learning theory, and reinforcement learning. He received his BS in EECS from UC Berkeley in 2019. At Berkeley he had the pleasure of working with Anca Dragan on research projects in robotics and reward learning. Outside of research, he enjoys roadbiking, lifting weights, cooking, tea, and learning 日本語.
